Vision, Ethos and Aims

In everything we do today, we’re following Jesus and His way.

Vision and Ethos:

  1. Our motto helps us to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Whatever we do, we think of Jesus and try to follow in His way.
  2. Our purpose is to share an understanding of what is right and wrong based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Above all, we value justice, forgiveness, love, respect and trust.
  3. Our purpose is to provide a quality education where high standards are an expectation; learning experiences develop the whole child and enable them to reach their full and unique potential.
  4. Our purpose is to educate and prepare our children for adult life, encouraging the development of confident, complete and loving individuals.
  5. Our school creates a welcoming and engaging environment where children feel safe, happy and excited to learn.
  6. Our school values everyone, respecting and valuing diversity.
  7. We value our parishes, families and wider community by working together and supporting each other.

We aim to

  • Encourage the spiritual development and prayer life of each child and help them to develop their relationship with God.
  • Offer a place where differences and problems are talked through and prayed through together and where success is shared and celebrated.
  • Provide a secure and happy environment where quality teaching and learning can take place 
  • Deliver a curriculum that meets the intellectual, physical and creative needs of each child as well as delivering spiritual, emotional and pastoral care.
  • Foster a respect for diversity, and recognise the rights of others, regardless of gender, race or ability and to offer equal opportunities to all, whilst ensuring the promotion of British values.
  • Value the contribution of home, school, parish, community and diocese in our daily lives.
