Through our creative Art curriculum, we empower our pupils to observe the world around them, explore their ideas, and express themselves creatively. Fulfilling the National Curriculum

Our Art and Design curriculum is carefully designed to fulfil the statutory requirements outlined in the national curriculum (2014). Pupils are given opportunities to observe, analyse, and evaluate creative works, using the language of art, craft, and design. This critical engagement with the arts helps to develop their artistic literacy and their ability to think critically about the world around them. We use the KAPOW scheme of work to help structure our curriculum, ensuring we fulfil national curriculum requirements and provide a progression of skills for the pupils.
