Our Prayer and Liturgy team are comprised of children from Years 5 and 6. They take an active part in the Mass through being Ministers of the Word and have helped to plan our termly Spirituality days. In order to help spread the Good News about God, the Prayer and Liturgy team have enjoyed reading Bible stories to the children in Reception and Years 1 and 2. They are currently working on leading celebrations for the Year of Prayer, in preparation for the Jubilee Year next year, Pilgrims of Hope. As part of this, the Prayer and Liturgy Team have invited children to pray the Our Father in their home language. You can see their poster below:

The Prayer and Liturgy team are also working on ways to develop prayer, particularly utilising our Prayer Garden during lunchtime play. We are currently recruiting for new members to join the Team and cannot wait to see the new ideas they bring to help enhance the Prayer life of our school.
