Catholic Social Teaching

St George's School recognises the profound impact that embedding Catholic Social Teaching (CST) can have on our pupils. Teachers intentionally plan for elements of CST to be woven throughout the curriculum, ensuring that our children develop a deep understanding of its core principles. Through assemblies, Celebrations of the Word, and cross-curricular learning experiences, our pupils make meaningful connections between CST and their own lives, becoming passionate ambassadors for social justice and change.

By embedding Catholic Social Teaching, nurturing the whole child, building strong community connections, and fostering a diverse, inclusive environment, we are equipping our pupils with the knowledge, skills, and compassion to become agents of positive change in the world. As we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, we are confident that our pupils will continue to make a lasting impact, both within our school and beyond.
